Professional Residential Garbage Can Cleaning

Thousands of germs reside in your garbage which can be very dangerous to you and your household. Even though your garbage is emptied each week, the germs aren’t. They are left to grow, multiply, and fester. At RichBins our goal is to kill those nasty germs.

We are a residential trash bin cleaning service. After your garbage can(s) have been emptied, we bring our cleaning trailer to your home to clean, disinfect, and deodorize them. Through our eco-friendly cleaning process, we safely kill 99% of all germs that are left behind, leaving you with a clean garbage can that smells fresh, and is safe for you and your family.

Currently, we service residential customers in Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Springerville, Snowflake, and Eagar.

We take care of the dirty work.

Sparkling Clean Bins

We handle all your lingering gunk, gum, or germs in your cans, making sure they look and smell incredible. We also keep the curbside area free of trash and debris, so there is nothing but a clean can left on the street side.

Safe and Sanitary

We clean each trash can with hot water (> 200 degrees) and biodegradable cleaning agents that kill most bacteria, viruses, and fungi. We want each can to be safe enough to eat off. We just don’t recommend it.

Trash Bin Cleaning FAQ

Trash bins are breeding grounds for germs like viruses, bacteria, and fungi. It is estimated that in your garbage can, there are over 400 bacteria, alone, per square inch. This, coupled with the thick grime and gunk that builds up in them, can make cleaning and disinfecting your garbage cans difficult. Using a simple garden hose and brush often isn’t enough to clean them thoroughly. Not to mention it takes a lot of time and usually ends up leaving you filthy.

When we clean your trash cans, we use hot water (>200F) under pressure that kills most of those germs and cuts through that nasty buildup. Afterward, we use a hospital-grade disinfectant and deodorizer to finish off any of the pesky germs and odors that are left over.

Our system allows us to use considerably less water and cleaning agents than a typical homeowner would use, and it takes a fraction of the time. The best part is that we take all the filthy water and leftover garbage with us, so there is no clean-up or unsightly mess.

We primarily work with residential customers in Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Springerville, Snowflake, and Eagar. Please look at our service map to see if you live in one of the many areas we cover or feel free to contact us.

That is entirely up to you. We have several cleaning plans available to choose from. Just pick the one that works best for you. We recommend, however, that you choose a plan with more frequent cleanings. First, it may be necessary, if your garbage is stored inside, or near your house to deter critters and rodents, or when it is hot outside. Second, once you experience a clean and fresh-smelling trash can, you may always want it that way.

Nope. On the day your garbage cans are emptied, just leave them on the curb, and we will come by to clean them. We will do our best to send you a text notification of when we plan to stop by and then let you know when we’ve finished.

This depends on how dirty your trash cans are. We will make every effort to clean your cans so that there is no garbage or grime left in them. However, if your cans are really dirty, it may take more than one cleaning to get them completely clean. That’s why you’ll notice our one-time fee costs more than our subscription plans. Because we typically need to run a longer cleaning cycle and use more water and degreaser to break up all the junk the first time your cans are cleaned.

Garbage cans need to be emptied before we can clean them.

Yes. We use only a fraction of the amount of water you would use if you cleaned your garbage cans by hand. Not to mention we use cleaning products that are safer for the environment and make sure all dirty water is disposed of appropriately.

Yes! We are a veteran-owned, family-run business. My family and I live in the beautiful town of Eagar, AZ, so you can feel comfortable knowing we’re part of your community.
